Stronger Together
September is Suicide Prevention Awareness Month, but we are passionate about spreading awareness, support, and resources year round
Here at Releasing the Phoenix, we frequently work to provide resources for those struggling with suicidal ideation and while their loved ones, while also incorporating options for further support. However, September is an extra important month to spread awareness, insight, and open the dialogue surrounding suicide. Especially with the many things the queer community has faced over the course of the past few months.
Below is a secure, anonymous form for you to share your story or provide a note of love or support. Submissions we receive may be shared anonymously on our website and social media.
"I am a multi-attempt survivor, and still struggle with suicidal ideation. As a queer, trans, & neurodivergent person living with multiple mental and physical chronic illnesses, I have and still do struggle with thinking the world would be better off without me. I also struggle with wanting to escape the pain. Every September I share my story in hopes that if you are struggling, you will know that you aren't alone. There is support. We are here to provide you with resources, care, and love. I see you."
