A Holistic Mental Health Organization for Our Queer Community
My name is Sage Nestler, MSW, and I established Releasing the Phoenix in 2019
As a queer person with several, serious mental and physical illnesses, I wanted to create a unique and well-rounded mental health care experience for our community.
We provide holistic mental health centered on the unique experiences those of us in the queer community face. I am very passionate about pairing lived experience with professional experience and have based my approach to mental health on this concept.
Everyone on my team, as well as those I work or collaborate with, have lived experience in conjunction with professional experience.
