At Releasing the Phoenix, we are committed to offering a comprehensive, holistic approach to mental health that centers the unique experiences of the queer community. Our organization provides:

  • Guidance on managing mental health in a rapidly shifting and often hostile political landscape.

  • Access to crisis and mental health resources, as well as other resources for queer folks.

  • Facilitated and free support groups that foster community, connection. and mutual understanding.

  • Referrals to trusted mental health professionals and specialized services.

  • Individual and group coaching, with an emphasis on alternative healing methods - including bibliotherapy, therapeutic art coaching, and more.

  • Informative articles and interviews that address mental health information from those with lived experience that address queer concerns and promote mental wellness.

  • Advocacy and continuing education initiatives aimed at health professionals to reduce stigma around highly stigmatized conditions.

Through these resources, we strive to empower individuals and foster resilience, ensuring that mental health support is accessible, affirming, and responsive to the complexities of queer lives.
